The Islamic Revolution Mojahedin Organization announced its existence in April 1979 and the first phase of its activity was stopped in October 1986. This organization was considered one of the political organizations close to the Islamist movement and followed the political leadership and intellectual and religious foundations of Imam Khomeini.
The purpose of the upcoming article is to analyze and historically examine the political approach of the Mujahideen Organization of the Islamic Revolution in facing the events of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic system and the relationship of that organization with pluralism, partisanship and party politics.
The type of descriptive-analytical research and the research method of this article is a historical review using the technique and pattern of process tracing.
The findings of the research show: The Mojahedin Organization of the Islamic Revolution, following the political opinions and intellectual foundations of Imam Khomeini, had accepted party politics on the condition that it did not conflict with Islamic standards and within the framework of the constitution; This organization had an explicit political and intellectual conflict with the dissident political currents competing with the Islamist current; Internal political and intellectual conflicts, the removal of dissident political currents from the field of official politics and the subsequent political and military necessities in the first half of the 1980s caused the organization to stop working.
