In the Islamic period, the nomads became an important political and military force, therefore, from the Safavid period, the policy of resettling and deporting the nomads was on the agenda with the aim of weakening them, and it continued during the Afsharid period until the Qajar period. The Pahlavi government put a new nomadic policy on the agenda with relatively different goals and implementation ways. The findings of this research show that the nomadic policy of the Pahlavi government was formulated with the aim of establishing security and social engineering and integrating the Nomads into a single settlement in the hope of creating a single geography in the land of Iran. In the beginning, the implementation of this policy was accompanied by the suppression of nomads, but in the future, it was followed in a peaceful and continuous way to replace them and change the way of livelihood of nomads to herd management and agriculture. In response to the nomadic policy of the Pahlavi period, the government of the Islamic Republic encouraged the nomads to migrate at the beginning, but soon, due to the failure to solve the problems faced by the nomads and the loss of interest of the nomads in this way of life, it adopted the policy of voluntary resettlement of the nomads. Failure to properly follow this policy also led to the voluntary & self-foundation settlement by Nomads.
