پژوهشکده امام خمینی و انقلاب اسلامی تاریخ نامه انقلاب 2588-3496 3 1تا 4 2020 06 21 Role of Iranian Writers’ Association (IWA) and Its Members in Promotion of Struggles against the Pahlavi Regime نقش کانون نویسندگان و اعضای آن در پیشبرد مبارزات با حکومت پهلوی 157 178 110433 FA حسینعلی قربانی دکتری تاریخ انقلاب اسلامی، پژوهشکدة امام خمینی(س) و انقلاب اسلامی، تهران، ایران Journal Article 2020 01 13 This research is an attempt to find an appropriate answer to the principal question of “What approach did the Iranian Writers’ Association (IWA) and its members adopt during the last two decades of Pahlavi reign and what were the measures taken by its members?” Results of the research indicate that the Iranian Writers’ Association was founded in response to the cultural policies of Pahlavi reign. The Leftists held the intellectual dominance in the association, although there were also other intellectual tendencies more or less active in this cultural institution. The majority of the association’s members were both cultural elites with outstanding political affiliations. Their membership in political groups and parties such as Tudeh Party of Iran, Society of Socialists and the National Front had necessarily developed IWA from a conservative and non-active body into a tactful circle in confrontation with political and cultural issues of the Iranian society. In spite of its cultural approach, this association entered the political struggles at an era of the Iranian history to exert influence on flaring up of the protests against the Pahlavi regime. However, the discord among its members in the head of the revolution, particularly in the course of second-term elections for secretaries, and their attitudes toward the revolutionary developments, restricted their effectuation. <strong>چکیده: </strong>این پژوهش به دنبال پاسخ به این پرسش است که کانون نویسندگان ایران و اعضای آن، چه رویکردی در دو دهة پایانی حکومت پهلوی در پیش گرفتند و چه اقداماتی از سوی اعضای این نهاد فرهنگی انجام شد؟ نتایج تحقیق بیانگر آن است که کانون نویسندگان ایران در واکنش به سیاست‌های فرهنگی حاکمیت پهلوی شکل گرفت. تفوق فکری در کانون با اندیشه‌های چپ‌گرایانه بود، اما گرایش‌های فکری دیگری نیز کم‌وبیش حضور داشتند. عموم اعضای کانون افزون بر شخصیت فرهنگی، تعلقات برجستة سیاسی داشتند و عضویت بیشتر آنان در گروه‌های سیاسی همچون حزب توده، جامعة سوسیالیست‌ها و جبهة ملی‌ خواه ناخواه کانون نویسندگان را از یک نهاد محافظه‌کار و بی‌تحرک به مجمعی حساس در مواجهه با مسائل سیاسی و فرهنگی جامعه تبدیل کرده بود. این کانون با وجود رویکرد فرهنگی، در برهه‌ای از تاریخ ایران، در کشاکش‌های سیاسی وارد شد و تأثیراتی در شعله‌ور شدن اعتراضات به حکومت پهلوی داشت، اما اختلافات اعضای آن در بحبوحة انقلاب به‌ویژه در انتخاب اعضای هیأت دبیران دورة دوم و نوع مواجهه با تحولات انقلابی به‌ویژه اصرار برخی اعضاء بر ماهیت صنفی کانون، اثرگذاری آن را محدود کرد. https://tarikhname.ri-khomeini.ac.ir/article_110433_543709a55561c29018c2156f2915d2fc.pdf
